The Morrin Centre, Quebec City’s English-language cultural centre, will be hosting its 13th annual Imagination Writers’ Festival from April 6 to 10, 2022, and we would like to invite Linda Leith to join our lineup of authors to discuss The Girl from Dream City: A Literary Life.
Linda Leith brings bagels and her own book!
“How modern book retailing was invented here in Montreal. Linda Leith — founder of Blue Metropolis, author, and publisher — gave insight to the number of literary communities in various different languages in Montreal. The level of creativity and vibrancy is inspiring. Quite naturally, it produced great writers.” — Ian Ostroff, The Suburban, May 11, 2021
“This is what an artist is…. this is what constitutes a literary life, and it really is still subversive for a woman to stand up and assert such a thing for herself. To so fully own her story, and to dare to write her name on things.” — Kerry Clare, May 3, 2021
