Linda Leith Publishing (Linda Leith Éditions) Announces Ownership Transfer
February 1, 2026
Linda Leith Publishing (LLP, also known as Linda Leith Éditions) recently announced that ownership of the company has been transferred from President and Founder Linda Leith to Co-Publisher and CFO Felicia Mihali.
Founded in 2011 and based in Montréal, LLP has long championed Canadian writing with a mission to “publish and promote exceptional literary work by writers and translators that engages with the changes in the world we inhabit” with a special interest in books by Quebec writers working in English, as well as new talent.
Said Linda Leith: “As a Montrealer, a Quebecker, and a Canadian, I have been privileged to work with gifted writers in publishing and promoting their stories, which are our stories. Having long worked with the marvellous and multitalented Felicia Mihali, I’m delighted to pass the LLP torch on to her and support her in carrying on the proud tradition of LLP.”
Said Felicia Mihali: “I had just arrived in Quebec when I met Linda Leith in 2001 at the Blue Metropolis International Literary Festival. The first novel LLP published was The Darling of Kandahar - the first book I wrote in English. Given our long professional relationship, our friendship, and our mutual respect, today's announcement may not come as a surprise, but it is a thrill for me. Being Linda’s apprentice for 25 years is my Canadian success story. She will always be my mentor, and will play an active role in the company as long as she is willing to do so.”
Both Linda Leith and Felicia Mihali are eager to emphasize the continuity of the LLP mission to the many readers of LLP books, to their esteemed authors, and to their cherished suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
